2. Terms, policies and your responsibilities
Opening a Business Owner account means you accept the Brindah Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. You remain the seller of record for every SKU or service you list and must comply with Indian GST, packing, and consumer-protection rules.
- Terms of use: https://brindah.com/terms
- Privacy policy: https://brindah.com/privacy
- List only authentic goods you can ship. Counterfeit, misleading photos, or false stock can lead to rejection, payout hold, or account restriction.
- Commission is applied on each sale using the rate attached to your product’s sub-category (Brindah may confirm a different rate when the listing is approved).
- Service providers must deliver in the city and state shown on the offer.
- Brindah Official catalogue items are sold by the platform. They are not your listings and do not pay you commission.
Bank and GST accuracy
Payouts go only to the bank account on your profile. Incorrect IFSC, account number, or GST details delay settlement. Update them before your first order.
3. Create your account and sign in
First-time access
- 1
Sign up as Business Owner
- 2
Verify OTP if asked
- 3
Sign in at seller login
- 4
Choose Product or Service and upload ID
- Open Sign up on brindah.com and select Business Owner.
- Enter legal name, business email, mobile number, and a password of at least 6 characters.
- Complete OTP verification when prompted.
- Sign in at https://brindah.com/login?portal=seller with the same email and password.
- On Become a Seller, choose Product Seller or Service Provider, upload a clear ID or address proof, then continue to Profile.
- Use a dedicated business email. One email cannot be both a buyer account and a seller account.
- Google sign-in is available where enabled; email and password always work.
Portal
Always use Login → Seller (Business Owner). The shopper login will not open Product management or Earnings.
4. Forgot password and change password
- On the seller login screen, select Forgot Password. A reset notice is sent to the registered email.
- If you are already signed in: Settings → Account Settings → Change Password (current password, new password, confirm).
- Forgot Password is also available inside Account Settings.
No email received
Check spam, then open Messages in the Seller Portal or write to connect@brindah.com with your registered mobile number. Do not create a second seller account.
5. Business profile, KYC and going live
Brindah reviews your company documents before catalogue or services can appear to buyers. Complete Profile in one sitting where possible.
Verification status
- 1
Pending
- 2
Submitted
- 3
Approved — you may list
- 4
Rejected — fix and resubmit
- Open Profile. Enter business name, owner name, registered address, GSTIN if you have one, and the pickup pincode.
- Upload KYC: Aadhaar, PAN, and GST certificate if registered. Use a sharp PNG, JPG, or PDF.
- Submit for verification.
- If the status is Rejected, read the remarks, replace the document, and resubmit.
- Add bank details (account holder name, account number, IFSC) under Settings or on the Earnings bank card.
Pickup pincode
Couriers collect from your pickup address, not from a Brindah warehouse. An incorrect pincode causes failed pickups and delayed orders.
6. Seller dashboard
After approval, Dashboard is your daily home. It summarises new orders, earnings, and pending shipments. Use the left menu for every other module.
- Product management — catalogue, bulk upload, submit for approval.
- Services — service offers (tailoring, alteration, classes).
- Order Management — pack, hand over to courier, track status.
- Earnings — invoices, payments, settled payouts.
- Messages — support tickets with Brindah.
- Customer Reviews, Profile, Settings, Data Overview, User Manual.

Live on brindah.com
- Go to Product management → + Add Product.
- Enter name, description, category, sub-category, unit of measure, your price, selling price, stock, images, colours, sizes or variants, tags, and the eco-friendly flag if it applies.
- Save. The SKU is not visible to buyers yet.
- Submit for approval. The product editor submits the new SKU automatically. From the list, use Submit for approval to send every pending SKU together.
- When Brindah approves the listing it becomes Live. If it is rejected, read the remarks, edit, and resubmit.
- To change an existing SKU, use the pencil icon. Open Variants to add size or colour stock.
- For many SKUs: download Template, complete the Excel file, then Bulk Upload. Always use the latest template.
Pricing and tags
Keep selling price at or below your price so discount % displays. Tags such as Featured, Recommended, Best Seller, and Eco Friendly help the item appear in curated and recommended modules on the storefront.
Stock and deletion
Set stock to 0 to stop sales. Do not delete a live SKU that still has open orders. Buyers cannot check out an out-of-stock item.
8. List a service (service providers)
- Open Services. Enter title, category (for example Tailoring Service), price in INR, city, state, and a clear description.
- Submit for approval. Status shows Sent for approval, Live, or Rejected.
- Approved offers appear on https://brindah.com/services for buyers.
Coverage
State the city and state you actually serve. Buyers rely on that location when they enquire.
9. Orders, packing and shipping
Order path
- 1
Paid / confirmed
- 2
Pack at your location
- 3
Courier pickup
- 4
Delivered
- Order Management shows only your sub-orders.
- Pack to the weight and dimensions on the listing. The courier partner (Shiprocket network) collects from your pincode.
- Cash on delivery and online payments both appear here. A return or refund reduces earnings.
- If pickup fails, keep the parcel ready and notify Brindah via Messages with the order ID.
No central warehouse
You ship from your own address. Do not wait for Brindah to stock or dispatch your goods.
10. Earnings, invoices and settlements
Earnings is the money ledger for your account: order collections, refunds, and payouts after marketplace commission and tax.
- All Payments lists each collection with invoice ID, buyer, method (UPI, card, or COD), amount, and Complete or Refunded.
- Settled shows amounts already paid to your bank.
- Net earning is item total minus commission, refunds, and applicable tax on the category.
- Keep invoice IDs for your GST records. Raise a Messages ticket if a settlement does not match an order.
Payouts need a verified bank account
Settlements cannot be released until KYC is approved and bank details match the account holder name on your profile.
11. Customer reviews
- Customer Reviews shows ratings left after delivery.
- You cannot edit a buyer rating. Use Messages if you need Brindah to look at a quality dispute.
12. Support and messages
- Open Messages → New conversation to raise a ticket (include order ID, SKU name, and photos for damage claims).
- Reply in the same thread until the issue is closed.
- Settings → Help can send a short request if you do not yet have a ticket.
Never share secrets in chat
Do not send OTPs or full bank account numbers to buyers. The public Contact Us form is for shoppers; partners should use portal Messages so your vendor account is attached.
13. Settings and account closure
- Account Settings: name, email, phone, logo, password.
- Notifications: order and message alerts.
- Bank: payout destination.
- To close the account, finish or cancel open orders, then request closure from Settings. Brindah reviews the request.
14. Data overview
- Data Overview summarises sales and catalogue counts by week or month.
- Use it with Earnings invoices when preparing GST workings.
