Selling on Brindah
How selling, services, approval and commission work
Commission is set on each sub-category (for example Sewing Machine → Domestic Machines). That rate is applied to your listing when you create it. Brindah may confirm a different rate when the listing is approved. Brindah Official catalogue items carry 0% commission because they are sold by the platform.
Product seller flow
- Sign up as Business Owner and complete KYC on your seller profile.
- Wait for company verification.
- Add a product or bulk-upload SKUs. Status starts as Pending.
- Submit for verification (one product or all pending SKUs).
- When approved, the listing goes Live on brindah.com.
- Orders are assigned to you. The courier collects from your pickup pincode.
Service provider flow
- On Become a Seller, choose Service Provider (tailoring, alteration, classes).
- Complete KYC the same way as product sellers.
- Create a service offer with title, city/state, and price.
- After approval, the offer appears on the public Services page.
Commission, catalogue and shipping
- Commission: inherited from the product sub-category unless Brindah confirms another rate at approval.
- Brindah Official: platform-owned listings, shown as Products from Brindah. These are not seller SKUs.
- Shipping: pickups from your location via the Shiprocket courier network. There is no central Brindah warehouse for seller stock.
